The view from the front. We're not sure if we like the white and blue colour scheme or not. It'll certainly require a "thoughtful" build kit.

That’s in ‘just right’ green, that is… Nice.

“It’ll certainly require a “thoughtful” build kit.”

Not Chipps’ strong suit I’d have thought. I submit as evidence the Orange Blood.

That Mojo *needs* some blue Magura Thors, no?

  • 6: gunners - August 24th, 2009

blue Thors, blue Juicy ultimates, Blue Industry Nine wheels with white spokes – blue mortgage to pay for it all ;-)

  • 7: hamishthecat - August 24th, 2009

Is that the new Mojo by Twyfords?

  • 8: bomberman - August 24th, 2009

I can’t wait to see how you ruin that mojo with multicoloured crapness!

  • 9: dave360 - August 24th, 2009

Ibis needs some pink and the Kinesis needs some purple.

  • 10: doom_mountain - August 24th, 2009

I need that Ibis, anyone want to buy a lung?

  • 11: Benji Haworth - August 25th, 2009

dave360 – the Virsa will be getting black and grey bits. Sorry ;-)

  • 13: MrOvershoot - August 25th, 2009

Some of the welding on that Virsa looks a bit agricultural, actually I have done better welds on agricultural equipment ;)

Mojo looks nice, very nice :D

  • 14: Benji Haworth - August 25th, 2009

Welding looks perfectly acceptable for a £350 frame IMHO.

  • 15: Ed-O - August 26th, 2009

Virsa looks sweet. The Ibis just rocks.

  • 16: D0NK - August 26th, 2009

Correct me if I’m wrong but the virsa has swapouts so you can run SS but the disc mounts have no slots so you can’t adjust the brakes when you move the wheel. (or am I missing something?)

    Looks nice tho.

  • 17: Benji Haworth - August 26th, 2009

Looks like I might have the Virsa built up by the weekend :-O

With minimal bodging and raiding-of-other-bikes too…

Just need to buy a chain really.

And the squidgy back brake feels like it needs a bleed. Oh well.

shame did not include a split drop out for a belt – though looks an easy mod

  • 19: rootes1 - September 21st, 2009

ps my comment was about kinesis thing

  • 20: prof farnsworth - October 4th, 2009

Virsa looks nice, but i was thinking the same thing as DONK. how will the rear disc work with horizontal dropouts but no slotted disc mounts???
