It’s also worth mentioning that it’s only guaranteed if you actually make your qualifier! Get up early, or forget you’re british and don’t queue.

the pro’s do do the qualifying, yep. Check out this video -http://vimeo.com/5935204 helmet cam was strapped to Chris Kovaric – you can see Danny Heart racing away at the start of their qualifying race.

The pros do have a get out though: they will get to start in the fifth row of the main race in any event (i.e. mechanical or puncture) – I guess this is to ensure they actually race and come to the event.

Neat idea – do the pros actually do the qualifying as well though? Worth it just to get a head-start on the unwashed masses but if the appeal for some is starting next to the pros that needs clarification.

Just the qualifier. we’re only removing the lottery that is the number allocation for your qualifying start row – the rest is up to you!

RE:FlowMTB have guaranteed 5 front row, 10 second row and 10 third row starting positions to customers who book for the 2010 Alpe d’Huez Megavalanche through them.

Is that for the qualifier or for the actual race?
