Kirkstone in the night at sub zero temperatures looked like a giggle.

Driving over it on a June afternoon is enough for me.

They're ok, but don't expect to get a couple of full bikes in the back easily. They only seat 2 also.
Go for a dispatch, scudo, expert van. Get the 1.9 turbo or HDI version tho. The non turbo is unbelievably slow! They come in 3 seat versions and have just over 6ft load length in the back. Ok to drive too

A bit dodgy but you might get away with it as
a)you are pursuing her
b)presumably you weren't seeing her about mental health issues.
Whether she is willing to take the risk, or is even interested, you will have to find out the hard way

Computer games = scourge of the devil!
Number of parents that tell me "my son/daughter is a computer wizz - always on the computer!!" What they mean is that they play games/social network etc but cannot think for them selves. Computer games = training not learning. VERY bad imo!

So that would be some of the beer budget sorted at least.

My son, now a man, had gaming equipment from an early age and as a result, never really took to reading, which for me is massively important in a youngster's development.
My son, now a teenage PITA, had PS1, PS2, GameCube, Wii, XBox, GameBoy Color, Gameboy Advanced, Nintendo DS and iPod Touch, and on average reads at least a book a week, usually two.

I don't see the case for mutual exclusivity.

Agreed, which is why I say - "it may be just my son" Not claiming anything, but to repeat - I personally, would not risk it again.

Come on Flashy, merely copying and pasting? You're struggling this evening. What your proposing is that employers can act with impunity because workers have a choice and can feck off each time the employer unilaterally decides to change contracted working conditions and or pay. Now, and follow this if you will, because you are struggling this evening, allowing employers to continually act this way in the knowledge that workers have to move if they don't like it always results in an advantage to the employers. This always happens. Workers have only one thing they can withdraw, and that is their labour.
