[Closed] anyone riding snowdon over xmas?

Family are staying in a cottage in bangor over xmas/new year. Was thinking of riding snowdon on boxing day or new years eve

anyone thinking of the doing the same or want to join me?

I'd be up for that, weather dependent.

Wouldnt be surprised ifs covered in snow by then.

email in profile.. I've done the unconventional route down before (Rhyd Ddu) but wouldn't mind trying the ranger path

I'll be up there over Xmas - but I'll be armed with an ice axe and crampons. Leave your bike at home unless you want to kill yourself.

Sounds like an ambitious plan given that it was snowing up there in May. You should be allright unless you let Steve plan your route...

Its covered in Snow now with more forecast, doubt it will be ridable.
