Hey,

Has anyone done Ben Wyvis by bike and have a suggested route?

Up in Strathpeffer at the end of the week and so far its looking like I am going to be allowed to take my bike!

David.

head up by going on firetrack from the Puffer car park, through towards garve, and head up the land rover track....

Cycling up ben wyvis is fantastic fun.

Cullen-Bay - Thanks!

I know where the puffer car park is - will dig out the 1:25000 later on!

Whats the route like? Boggy? Roughly how long did it take you to do it?

Quite fancy bagging my first munro by bike... ๐Ÿ˜‰

it will be boggy, the trails up here are getting pretty muddy. Its covered in snow atm tho.... probably melted by the end of the week though...
i plan to do it in the middle of winter, so i can get at least a little use out of my spike tyres.... we need them up here you know.... ๐Ÿ™‚

Your not the dude that runs Squarewheels are you? If so your a legend for the work that has gone into a few of the trails in the area that people have told me you have been involved in!

This is one of my favourite bits of man made / assisted singletrack
