For less than £50 these are very hard to beat, advertised as 900 lumens but realistically there around 550-600 lumens, which is a hell of a lot and enough to ride off-road with at a respectable speed.

Lots of info about them to help you decide if you want to 'risk' them..
There were initally battery problem (poor sealing), but ppl report that they are much better now. You will though have to wait if you order them from DX, as the Hong Kong post service is running on overtime at the moment (talk of a month delivery time vs the normal 10 working days).

Lots of different variations are available from the same site eg:
Older bettery type - http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.25149
But LED wise there all exactly the same.

They are also sold by many UK/ebay retails (Merlin included) for around double the price of the DX site, nowt wrong with this, as long as you understand you being charged upto double just because they are a UK retailer.

This is the latest type also sold by a UK retailer (though they are currently out of stock).

You should be able to pick up Hope Vision One for that price. Awesome bit of kit.

I have a couple of P7 torches from Dealextreme that have served me well for a few years. Now have the 1200 lumen version of the DX light above. Very good as a helmet light, & a good longer range spot due to its beam pattern. Got mine SH off here, but they are only $45 new. DX now have a UK warehouse but not checked it out yet, should mean stuff arrives faster.

Id definately recomend the DX 1200 lumen XML-T6 3-Mode 1200-Lumen light, SKU 82508.

Its mega bright with a nice tight beam, great for on your lid and all for £30!

I've ordered a couple for me and my mates and its taken between 2 - 4 weeks to arrive from HK.

The same light again it seems, mine cost me £34 and took 10 days to arrive. Used it for the first time last night in addition to my hope 4 bar light and it was great. The first time I've run a helmet light as well so it might just be that but it's super bright and an utter bargain.
