hi all I've just recently moved to cornwall, helston, redruth area, anyone know of any decent trails around here ?

Hi Joe. I live in the same area (near Four Lanes-ish), there's plenty of bridleway routes to explore especially nearer Redruth. The likes of Carn Brea and Carnmarth have got some techy enough DHs off the top and you can link these up with several other routes for several XC options.
There's also Poldice near Chacewater with several DH runs if you fancy that.
