planning a trip next week,as title and any advice ?
Did the gorlech trail on sunday and it was very nuch open.
Also road the Gorlech on Sun and whilst it is officially closed, there was only one section where there was any evidence of logging and that was only a very short fireroad section.
Seems crazy to shut a trail for 3 months, when there is no visible evidence of logging in the trail vicinity.
Understand that there may be a conflict with logging lorries midweek, but why not close it in the week (when there is unlikely to be that much use) and open it at weekends like a lot of other places.
Ps.
If you are doing the black, the two sections that are closest to the red are also shut, but again there is no evidence of any forestry activity in the area.
