Don't start that again - the designer won't be happy unless you promise to never run it above 130mm !

Front impact head tube removal is pretty obvious so I doubt there'll be an issue warranty wise ie you won't get one ;0)

Isn't Pikes on Souls the law?

PA and Soul are totally different beasts; Soul is lighter and sprightlier - PA is heavier physically and on the trails. (Yes, I've had both.)

But then the PA is almost twice the price!

Great pic Sharki. Riding in the Lake District again is high on my wish list. Great fun first time, but a great carry not ride.

Oh, and Travel adjustable(90 - 130) is the best thing I ever did bike wise:

I've a 16" Soul sitting in my garage.
Was planning to swap all the kit from my Enduro over this evening but am going to hold off till after Tuesday's trip to Nant-y-Arian & MachX.
Looking forward to trying it out.
Will post a pic when its built.

How about Pike on a Soda?

If it'll go on a Soul, it'll go on a Soda. The geometry's the same.

Sorry Sharki, embarassing for me then. Must've ridden less than 10 miles away. Sure looked more Lakes to me. Like I said, great pic though.

Used to run coil Pikes @ 120mm on mine. They were awesome. Then I got all weight weenie and swapped them for some Pace RC41 bolt throughs. 1.5lb lighter, but I still miss the Pikes 2 years on...
