Been looking at their clothing and it looks ok, and very cheap. Does anyone have experience of their stuff and if so what are the opinions.

I think it’s become the clothing brand Halfords sell now.
Not that that makes it bad of course – I bought a long sleeve jersey off Ebay, poly & Coolmax mix – fabric is great, very soft and comfortable. Fit is a bit weird though. Too short in the body for a cycling jersey. Can’t complain for £12 though.

FWIW they are the edgy arm of Regatta. Have picked up two or three items from TK Maxx – a softshell which is indistinguishable from an Animal one I have – a foldaway waterproof and a thin fleece, prob less than £60 for all three.

Good, workmanlike kit not exactly Mavic but not Mavic prices either

I’ve got couple of their things. They are owned by Regatta and some winter jackets are not the greatest for quality however 4 things I bought some time ago are great. DWR on two jackets outlasted DWR on my £120 Gore tex Columbia jacket, they do a bamboo fibre jacket as well, wind proof, good cut and nice features. I also have their wind jacket which is superb, packs really small, well made, does the job and is good enough for a small shower. Their Ared V02 10000 membrane is pretty good as well, my OH’s dad has a cycling jacket with that membrane and it is very breathable and again well made. Base layer is still going strong as well. Sizing is pretty much spot on, so a Large is like a usual Large for most brands and not all over the place.

For the price is a very good buy, but not at full rrp they sometimes quote on the website. It seems like they are placed around Endura prices, however you get the odd sale + discount codes making it a good buy. Never tried any of their shorts but jackets, jerseys and tops are very good.

    Dare2B sounds like a cross-dressers specialist store.

Had a softshell of theirs for about 2-3 years now… still looks tidy, all seams/zips etc in good nick. Can’t expect anymore from a £30ish bargain!

Bought a pair of D2B summer weight baggies a couple of years ago. The outers were fine, but the inners were a waste of time (very comical though), inners went straight into the car-rag pile!

Sponsor at Ft William last year, all the “crew” got jackets. Worn mine lots over the last year, including 14days back to back skiing. Nice and cozy still, no signs of “over use” yet.

Got a waterproof Dare2be shell from TKmax around 2 years ago. After about 18 months all the zips came away from the fabric.

GF has some of their shorts and a top, they’re ok, nothing to get excited about.
