just watched the first episode and have to say the first 5-10 minutes annoyed me but it defo got better.

It does take a few minutes to tune into the humour.

If you like "Chewin' The Fat" then you'll probably get on well with it.

Looks like a load of toss. I really can't stand these shows with affected scottish accent: Chewin' the Fat, River City, City Lights (remember that?), Happy Holidays. Nobody up here speaks that was - except actors.

Err. yep, I work in Dunfermline wi' Fifers and most of them sound like that. (Though a little less camp).

Likewise, I'm from Glasgow and find the accents in "Chewin' The Fat" pretty authentic.

Well given the snow the dual carriageway will have been at near standstill, so fwb2006 likely escaped any major injuries.

Unless he accidentally got roadsalt mixed in with the soil.

That would sting.
