I used eBay to get the tape to cover the cranks and other bits. Was only about £1.50 IIRC, fast delivery too.

Oh and good luck attempting to cover a frame...

Why would you want to cover a whole frame?

Personally I always get mine from www.convertape.com and I can't praise them highly enough. More importantly their product is the best I have found over the years I have been using it.

Check them out null

Both the same thickness, a micron is 1000th of a mm, so 360microns is .36mm

I believe.

Asitis,

How long is the tape from convertape I'm assuming it's 100mm wide?

bought a roll of clear tape from Wickes a few weeks back, not massively thick but is fairly tough and is working a treat, especially for less than £3 a roll.

How come Asitis only posts to say how good convertape are and he says he always uses them but only used them for the first time a few weeks ago?

Drac, I have bought from them 3 times in the last few weeks ?!? Why is that so strange?? I initially bought 1 length to see the quality then bought more.... I don't know why I'm even replying actually as I have no need to appease you?!

You can buy it by the metre on their site, I don't know if they offer anything else as I haven't spoken to them.
