I'm changing forks from manitou post to rockshox IS mount.

Got 160mm mini mono caliper (6 years old) at the moment (post mounted). To fit to new forks I'll need an adapter. I'm going to take the opportunity to step up from a 160 disc to a 180.

Is this the right adapter

They sell 180 & 183mm rotors! So will I need a 183mm rotor?

Just could do with a sanity check as having a bad day so far.

Thanks for reading.

Looks like the correct mount, use the 183mm rotor for an ideal match.

one type, 180mm is for IS mount, 183mm is for post mount. If you're hell bent on a 180mm then you can fiddle it with other Hope mounts(160mm rear).

They even did the C2 in a post mount, so I guess so.

Ah, I thought Mono minis were all IS mount until relatively recently.

right, its simple really.

hope used to do mono minis in 160/180/200, when they canged to the newer versions they changed to 160/183/203 to match other companies 160/203 format.

If you want to run a 180 on the front (becasue youve got a rotor already say) then you could use this. Yes i know it says 160 but a 160 rear adaptor fits a 180 when bolted to a fork (the mounts on a fork are a different distance from the axle than frame mounts)

I use Shimano adaptors for Hope brakes and hope ones for Shimano. When I tried H-H and S-S it wasn't working properly. Have fun!
