Any idea of a price yet?

can we pay in advance mate. โ
Vey smart,If its as reliable and as bright as my other trout light it will be another exellent product ๐
I can confirm that trouts lights are excellent quality.
Bit too early yet I am waiting for things to happen that are going to but have not yet .
did anything ever come of the plans to make a lamp with an integrated battery pack?
BTW - this one looks nice - look forward to pricing!

i have a prototype that i bought off trout, its a little belter.
Steve there is a similar light coming with batteries inside , Smudge has sourced some tiny Li polymer batteries and I am just waiting for the thing above I cant talk about to happen .
How much?
They look awsome
indeed. I'm fed up of making my own, yours look beautiful. Don't think i'm going to be able to resist.
can you give a ballpark figure Trout (even a inflated one would be good!)? Just so I have a rough idea of what I should start saving over summer? ๐
thanks for the heads up - keep me posted
Nice, any chances that will come with just a lead so I could use any type of battery ๐
Trout.... You are the man...... ๐
Juan Definately any battery over I think 10.5 volts the electrics have not yet been defined .
Cant talk prices but not a heap of tokens
Count me in, looks superb
๐
Do you reckon they'll be sorted by mid June? (thinking Mountain mayhem)
I'll be getting on of those for next winter ๐
Neat work there troutie. Ive got the said Li-po cells & chargers in stock now. i'll give you a bell over the weekend.
Crell
wont be sorted by then but I am willing to let you borrow the proto for MM if you are racing .
for a bit of impartial testing
I want one please!

Now theres an offer!,nice one troutie ๐ "bump"
Now, that looks much better. Very original
๐
We'll wait to see how this one turns out
CC.
Ooooh.
Don't need one, but thats not stopped me before, looks lush.
ohhhhh, me likey ๐
Would it work with soemthing like a cordless drill battery (~14V or ~18V, thats aporx, not AC!). Just thinking of a light with easy battery spares available would be nice.
This or a bastid, decisions decisions............
Hhmmm.
I'm working on other lights too at the mo, although I'm not so far down the line.
hopefully gonna be the smallest 1000 lumen light on the planet
A good target, but I find I'm limited by the size of the connector and the switch. Issues I'm sure you will have to consider also.
Leave enough space on it to engrave it
๐
Yes it would work with any cordless drill from 12 to 18 volts no worries
it is going to get a bit smaller and lighter
it weighs in at 88 grammes including the mount and velcrostrap at the moment .
and if anyone is at MM and wants to see one then hunt out crell as he will have one on the bars and one on his helmet.
Think I better pop by and check him out,,,, Or I could just look for the bright glow in the woods 8)
Sorry for the slight hijack, Got a riding buddie doing these if anyone needs a UK built light Staffs area with excellant backup if needed!

Yes I know what you mean there damn connectors and switches too sodding big If I find one I will let you know .
but in the mean time lots of nice things happening out there maybe we can be of assistance to each other ๐
here is the proto bar version soon to be racing around MM I hope
Yep search out Crell...he'll be just in front of the broom wagon ๐ only joking fella...he used to test prototype Ti bars for Keith Bontrager too you know!
What will the current draw be? Any idea on price yet? Will it be on/off or have hi/lo settings?
88g? My current (240lumen) helmet light* is 55g, cant remember if that included the rubber mount though.
:-p
*DX 2xAA torch, with the barrel removed so the switch/electrics scrwes onto the lamp unit, hole drilled in the side and wires soldered tot he contacts, then into a 3V battery pack in my rucksack.
well as I have just cocked up and put the wrong driver in one of them
the helmet one is hi/med/low
and draws from a 15 volt source
hi = 700 ma
med = 200 ma
low = 100 ma
the bar light is Hi / lo only
and draws 700 hi and 200 low
but these levels are also user adjustable on both lights
put me down for one mate ๐
