Looking at swopping brakes around between bikes. I have an SLX front with a short hose as it's on a rigid fork, narrow barred bike. Had a quick look around at hose kits but nothing for SLX apart from a Clarks one at silly money. Surely I can get a bit of hose, olives etc online somewhere ?

Just replace it with a standard Shimano hose for about £15.

SLX is just a straight fitting on each end isn't it?

There's an insert that goes into the hose then the olive goes on the outside of the hose. The nut you can see tightens everything into place.

It's the same on the caliper end too.
