If anyone from Brixton Cycles is reading this, please could they stop doing so and build my Karate Monkey? Fanks. 😉
Gosh they do look odd except for the Singulars, like to see them get round our tight hairpins on the Chase
rich mine is actually better on the twisties than my singular was but it is shorter (or it feels it) that said my rig and my singular were sound on the chase
edit.. its 42.06mm shorter infact 😉
No 69ers yet?
wonder why
The green Inbred is a 69

My 29er has a shorter wheelbase than my full sus bike... Which I can get round the "tight hairpins on the Chase" alright thank you very much! 😉

As are the 2 carvers?
So's mine.
petesgaff - Where did you get that bike? I've been looking for one, and failed.
tnmn - yeap, I've got one of those as well. Doesn't look like that any more. A bit more rigid and without the ISIS rubbish, or the brakes, or the stem, or the bars, or the saddle, opps, actually it only just resembles that picture to be truthful :O)
i know what a 29er is but whats a 69er?
JRTG - riding one of those got me into HAVING to buy the other one. I still want a Root Beer one though. In 19.5'' please with Bonty carbons up front.
69er = 26'' wheel to the rear and 29'' wheel up front. Try it, you might like it!
Timbur, yep mines a 19.5" with niner carbons, tis the way forwards!
What GF is it fontmoss? Sort of looks like a SS Superfly or is it a RIG?
If a Rig - how did you get it cos didn't GF stop bringing these in after 2008?
If it's a SS Superfly - how? Magic ratio? Or is there an ecentric BB? I know Fatcyclist got one last year but I assumed that was a special with him knowing LA etc.
JC you're such a gheyer, you're putting ghears on everything that is supposed be nice without 😉
Love the Niner and the Carbon forks but I'm afraid that almost £400 for rigid forks is just a little too rich for my blood. Even if I was on my old overpaid contract.
Still love the look of that Karate Monkey. Shame they are so much more than a 29er Inbred.
Love the green Niner as well...not sure about those green rims, though 8)
Ayatollahofniche - MemberJC you're such a gheyer, you're putting ghears on everything that is supposed be nice without
There's something much gheyer than gears on Johns bikes.
😉
RevWill - 'Brand new' 2nd hand! Previous owner had ridden it once down his street! I think they stopped bringing them over in '08. It came from Epson Cycles; might be worth contacting them?

Wow...the price has gone up a lot since last year when I got mine. And who pays retail anyway? 😀 It's a great fork though!

petesgaff : Dammit, I was hoping someone was importing them. Though I wouldn't sniff at secondhand either. I'm looking for a rigid 29er ss for an enduro bike, but finding a bike I like within my absolute maximum £500 budget, ideally £400, isn't easy. There was some sale Kona Units which were perfect, but no 19" available.
