its the sticker that stops it rusting, its impregnated with a moisture repellant

How do you know it's 853? I'd worry so much I couldn't sleep.

Dont worry, all stickers prevent rust, just use another one

Not so timwillows – only 853 stickers prevent rust

Throw it into the Fires of Doom within Mordor.
If its 853 it will bounce back out again.

With 853 stickers you could completely cover the bike – thus preventing rust, or at least seeing rust

"put a titanium sticker on it "

Wont that make it too flexy and spongy?

cyclistm, I believe you're confusing flex & sponginess with zing & magiccarpetfloat

Do NOT put a titanium sticker on it.

Wow – I didn't know 853 stickers were so protective.
(and my new frame has one!)

The frame should be condemned on Health and Safety grounds. Send it to me for disposal.
