I guess that is a preproduction sample. The ones that are on sale are very pretty.

here are some beam shots to save the visit to photobucket

wide filter on high
[IMG] [/IMG]

medium filter on high
[IMG] [/IMG]

spot filter on high
[IMG] [/IMG]

For me the spot is the one to have and clever marketing means the £250 one if you want the spot

the luu lights are quite different , most notably coming with an extra CNCd 4AA Battery case that you screw into the back of the CNCd body when you want / need to switch to AA battery power. Im not the worlds number one light expert but Ive never seen this feature before , its very james bond man from the golden gun .

Each Luu comes standard with full CNC main body and also the CNC AA Battery case as does the 3 pc multi filter set , 4 cell li-ion battery , helmet mount .

more details and beam patterns on the on-one site early next week

just want to correct my post the "luu lights are quite different" which is clearly wrong as they are both made by Luu .

the screw in AA battery case is the only real differentiator , and of course the price that on-one sells the lights at is quite different

Is it really 900 lumens from the front? Or just the SSC rating when driven as high as it will go, with no optics? What current is supplied to the emitter?

I see the bow-tie wearers have been busy. Its a pretty little light.

Where are the cooling fins though ?.

Q: When a nuke explodes, doesn't it generate an EMP ?.

If so, then the one thing a light could never be, is nuke-proof....
