    what size forks does it take upto? mine origanily had monster t’s by the previous owner but looks stupid

    think they are designed for 4 to 5 inch forks. Monster Ts maybe a touch overkill! And would probably make it ride quite badly?

    he had it as a dh bike thats why i swapped him my patriot 4 it as i wanted somthing that went up hills aswell

    A sub5 is more of an all mountain bike than a DH bike, worth checking he didn’t do big drops etc whilst the triple clamps were fitted as it may have damaged the frame.

    To keep the handling as sweet as ever the Sub 5 also gets “Fast Track” geometry for 2003. This allows the use of up to 125mm travel fork and keeps the steering sharp.
