that's rather cheap isn't it… mayhaps gives a hint to the margins some stores work on!?

or the fact it's a discontinued model and crc have bought up a lot of the remainign stock to get it off the distributers/manufacturers hands?

Bloody hell. I haven't finished the 3rd bike yet and I'd nearly convinced myself to get one of those.

Unlikely to pedal well I'd have thought…and never worth £1600.

Any one ever ridden one of these single speed?

they're lovely to ride. i tested one for a week a couple of years back. ended up getting a STD though. It pedalled pretty well for a fat lass that hinges round the bottom bracket! It was a great bike for the way down. I'm almost tempted to pick one up at that price…

Everyone should own a Cove at some point in their life. Not always the lightest bike but very often the most reliable and fastest downhill. The new G-Spot looks utterly stunning and will pedal far better than expected. The new linkage on it is the same as the shocker and STD and will as a result be incredibly efficient for pedaling.

my nephew has a 2004-5? with a 5th element and it pedals fine( climbs really well to if you got the legs) 🙂
