   Sideways cycles sell stuff called bike shield, in my I've used copter tape before and its no where near as good as bike shield!

   I'm using clear repair tape from B&Q. About £3 and at that price I can afford to replace it when it get's tatty.

   I've used the same as marmoset but they sell it in homebase too. it's not as transparent as copter tape but is much cheaper and does a good job protecting from scuffs.
