shhhh, don't tell anyone! It's totally hush hush and on the QT [quoting Danny DeVito]

By a strange coincidence, the Bog Trotters are doing a ride from Settle the same day! So we can expect some overlap...

my legal representatives have declined this as apparently it is JUST MADNESS to ride somewhere with other people.
PS I can no longer offer cakes at the end as again I dont have the requisite insurance or training so apologies to all
Good luck.

Do you own a hair net? Do the cakes have use by dates? If someone goes down with food poisoning post ride you'd be ****d junkyard!

It seems Tons the organiser any lawyers take note whose name should be on the lawsuit

If you have your solicitors number on speed dial you are not invited ๐Ÿ™‚

Do we have a mileage and radometer technical-ness rating yet Ton? Junkyard will be needing the route asap for his risk assessment. Don't forget to go round and spray paint all the pointy rocks luminous orange beforehand Johnnie.

Ooh tricky one, will he sign a waiver?
Actually we'd have to pay him to draft a proper legally binding one first then sign it
๐Ÿ™‚

(I've nothing against solicitors BTW)

I suggested Arncliffe Cote (the BW), Mastiles Lane and mebbe Threshfield Moor with Stockdale Lane to finish, which is all further east...

Is that up mastilles lane?

it depends. I'd prefer to split off left and do Threshfield Moor & Winterburn Res followed by the climb to Weets and Smearbottoms Lane back onto Mastiles, but I'm not picking the route...

Will we have to show some form of ID, so we can prove we are not under 16?

BTW, Junkyard we are up to Farleton Knott rather than Rivvy tomorrow night if your interested.

I did fleetingly think Jo was a kiddie (she's quite small) but many of the rest of us were near or past our "sell by" dates...

BTW, Junkyard we are up to Farleton Knott rather than Rivvy tomorrow night if your interested.

I might be interested as the official club ride is "getting lost round Dent" and no one from Lancaster may go... what time ?

Just remember Simon, you are only as old as the woman you feel.

I knew I shouldn't have married an 80 year old

Probably 6 o'clock under the motorway bridge, near the farm. I'll confirm tomorrow.

It will only be a couple of hours or so.

Well I emigrate back to Blighty on Saturday and I'm a Scot don't forget and will be driving down from Dumfries.

And as of September you wont need to worry about me as I will be gracing my prescence on all the Dartmoor rides ๐Ÿ˜€

Ton - this looks a good route - I have done most of the trails, but like Simon, not in that order or even direction. You have managed to get Hawskwick Clowder in which is excellent - I have measured it up and it comes out at an appropriate 28 miles - so 28 on the 28th it is. ๐Ÿ˜€

When we rode the same route I think it came up just a whisker over 30 miles. A long ride, but a cracking day out.

Ton, I'll let you sort out the "interested " and "roll call" threads then. I simply cant afford the team of lawyers required for such responsibility.
