Just wondering what the conditions were like.

Thank you so much. ๐Ÿ™‚

Snowy but rideable. Not that deep. Ginger trails riding well. Some busier trails nicely carved out of the snow.

Nowhere near as bad as February.

It was riding just lovely! Nuff snow to be clean and grippy, not so much as to make it impossible to ride. Make the most of it before the next thaw when it'll turn into a swamp ๐Ÿ™‚

Lovely riding if you stay off the powdery fire trails. Merlot had a good run and the two children who bravely turned out for our club ride had a good time. Son1 managed the ride in a Helly base layer and short sleeved top!

And there was no need to wash the bike/dog/kid afterwards ๐Ÿ˜€

Ah, sounds promising then! It was riding really well on Friday but that was before the huge snow dump.

Thanks for your replies. ๐Ÿ™‚

It's thawing - rode there today and it was mainly clear on the trails, but very slippery due to the slush. Fire roads very compacted snow and fine to ride.

Twas a slush-fest today. ๐Ÿ™

Gloomy sky, drizzle, ice, puddles.

We still had fun though. ๐Ÿ˜€
