ClassifiedsHave a Schwalbe tyre of some description (can't remember the name) and whenever I pump the inner tube up to above 10psi, the bead of the tyre pops off the rim of the wheel.
The rim feels fine.and still looks round, so any ideas what's busted, and how best to fix?
Tyre bead broken?
steel or folding? Either way it suggests the bead wire/cord has failed. Beat me to it, uplink.
Happens when tyres get kinked in storage or left damp for ages etc.
Nipples. Oh well, at least it's only the tyre and nothing 'spensive to fix!
