For me,
Good - Panaracer Fire XC Pro - Great all rounder, cheap and long lasting
Bad - Hutchinson Python - Light and fast, but show them a drop of moisture and they're utterly pony
Ugly - Butterscotch Tioga Psychos. Just plain nasty
Over to you!
learn to corner properly.
Good - Schwalbe Nobby Nic - fast and grippy, love 'em.
Bad - Panaracer Fire XC Pro - for popping off the rim on fast descent in Spain and almost killing me...
Ugly - Panaracer Trailraker 1.95 - they are too skinny and make bikes look wrong. Brilliant in the mud though!
good- geax sagguaro
bad- panaracer spikes (squirmtastic on tarmac)
ugly- onza porcs in white uuurrrggghhhhh.
Good - Conti Mountain Kings
Bad - Schwalbe Nobbly Nics, worn out a set in three rides
Ungly - Conti Rubber Queens 2.4, wouldn't look out of place on a moto cross bike
Joxster....have you been looking at my front tyre...(Rubber Queen rider here!)
Good - Panaracer Fire XC (have now got a Fire FR to try for the front)
Bad - Specialized Eskar - washes out
Ugly - Peter Beardsley
Good ~ Maxxis Advantage 2.25" 60a - For the size mostly but I like them for all out peak/lakes rockiness
Bad ~ Continental Mountain King - On a 160mm FS? Why? Seem to completely lack any form of 'directionality' to them, especially in a little mud. Didn't trust them
Ugly ~ Maxxis High Roller (XC or FR/DH), well they're not pretty are they?
Good - Spesh enduro 2.3, shame they don't make them anymore.
Bad - Panaracer smoke/dart combo on my first bike in Herts finest hawthorn country - puncture-tastic!
Ugly - Schwalbe Big Jim, a contradiction in terms in that name and pinch flat-tastic!

I'm running a set of 2.4 Rubber Queens as well ๐ณ
G; Hutchinson Pythons, fast rolling, supple, light - love 'em! Just not a winter tyre.
B; Kenda Nevagal, heavy, draggy, not great grip.
U; Anything from Schwalbe with the big white logos on. Mings.
