The paperclip bike, without a doubt.
tempted to say the marin alchemist.. but that's probably a bit mean.
WHyte PRST4 thing, hang on....
Dango - admittedely the seat post is a w£$k but other than that surely the Zinn looks like the silouette of most XC/Train bikes currently available?
any of those road bikes plastered in logos, gaudy paint jobs & deep section wheels with MASSIVE writing on them
I quite like simple road bikes' lines (even like the planet-x ones) but logos almost always ruin them

What 300mm long stems and a 26 in the front and a 29 in the rear
loving the homebrew steering damper :-)!
I think the 24" rear wheel is to counterract an overlong shock
possibly
Bloke in Morzine has realised his mistakes, gone to the opticians - but it's shut! Bummer.

That road has a very, very slight up-slope on it. He couldn't even ride it along there....
We were in a cafe opposite. It made my day!
I'm having trouble keeping my lunch down
Anything ridden by SinglespeedStu apart from his BlackSheep of course 😉

Though that's not really the point on this thread.
I've just noticed the STEM on the Softride bike...!
YIKES!!
@ade - really ? I lusted after a PRST from the moment I saw the one hanging up in Bike '99 with PROTOTYPE across the frame - I finally got hold of a brand new one a month or so ago - the last one ATB sales had; I'm led to believe 🙂 - They'd run out of forks; so mine came with some from a JW-4
i was on that stand at bike 99 lurking with the prototype chatting do punters ,,, I still have the very first prototype,,, well half of it hanging in my garage the forks were made of 1.5" by 3/4" box aluminium cut and shut ,, it left two tyre tracks in the mud even when ridden in a straight line,, but the front end still worked better than telescopic forks
No paperclip yet!!
I probably had a chat to you then 🙂 If I remember correctly; it was paired with the Maximum Mountain Bike stand; I won the Marin courtesy of the Downhill Mountain Bike Arcade Game / competition thingie that was there - happy days !
That proflex looks great. Early models were made by Serota and pretty good bikes, also the girvin forks worked pretty well consider what else you could get. The later models with fat ally tubes that kept breaking were rubbish.
Flatboy - I still want one of those Alpinestars.
Hey, I reckon a lot of those bikes look great - especially the Whyte.
I reckon the belt drive bike that I rode at this years SSUK should qualify as an ugly duckling though.
