I like my wallets leather, with plenty of space for useless bits of plastic, ids, cash and coins (preferably with a zipped compartment for the coins).
But the ones I use never seem to last longer then a couple of months before falling apart. Is it time to give up on leather, or do I just need to go for a better quality?
Mulberry, holds eight cards plus notes. £50 in the factory outlet in Bicester. I try and keep it out of the back pocket when cycling to avoid moisture. I suspect the need to hold coins is not doing much for longevity. “What’s in your wallet?”
Another factory seconds Mulbery here (£30), 10 years plus on this one and still going strong but no coins in it – infact lately no much in it at all 🙁 . James has had an Animal Nylon for 5 years with coins in it gives it hell and still intact. Like the look of the Paul Smith and one has a coin pocket! But £149 !!!
I have one knitted from Peruvian aardvark leather that I found when tracking for Robert Falcon Scott in the Andes in 1691.
It even has a slot for an iPhone 7.
