I had to go to Inverness the other day and for the first time I got to drive the A9 in Daylight, Wow! Just lovely! It was pure torture not to turn off and ride Laggan or Fort Bill, but unfortunately I was working 
Next time though, I'll be taking the bike with me for sure, but where does that cycle path go and is it worth riding for fun? Or is it part of some north/south off road route? I saw a few people on loaded-up tourers, and some big Ol' diggers on the trail and I wondered what the deal was.
