My confirmation email doesn't have any links to my downloads?
This is a common issue and is almost always down to the fact that you MUST return to our shop receipt page after you have made your payment via Paypal or Worldpay. Only when the receipt page from our online shop has been displayed on screen will our shop issue the links.
With both Worldpay and Paypal the final payment confirmation screen will display a 'Return To merchant' link. You MUST click on this to activate your links. If you simply wander off to another website, or close down your browser after you have made your Paypal or Worldpay payment, your email won't contain the links. If that happens contact us straight away and we'll manually send you your links just as soon as we can.
What format do my downloads come in?
Our digital files are designed to be viewed in Adobe Reader version 6 or later. Currently the latest version available is version 7.
I get an error telling me the files are damaged or corrupted.
This is almost always due to attempting to view the files in versions of Adobe Reader earlier than version 6.
Where can I get Adobe Reader and how much does it cost?
The latest version of Adobe Reader can be downloaded from www.adobereader.com. It is available for both Mac and PC and is completely free.
Can I send my mates copies of download files?
Each downloaded file is for your own personal use only and you cannot distribute it freely. What does this mean? Well, although we don't want you buying downloads and then sticking the files up on a website for all and sundry to download for free we are realistic as to what people will actually do with our products. We are happy for you to treat our download files as you would the paper version. That is you can give a copy to your mates when you are down with it. But as with a printed version of the mag if you copied it and published it up on a website somewhere we'd be a bit cross about that, we don't want to see any copies of downloads freely available on your own website or anywhere else. So, copy it to a CD and give it to your mates but don't email it, or the links to the files to anyone else and certainly don't publish the files on websites or forums.
Can I subscribe to Singletrack and receive my copies as pdf files?
We are currently working on a way to make this happen. Standby.
Don't have a PAYPAL account?
If you use a Paypal eCheque (If you use a credit/debit card via PAYPAL to make a purchase ie you do not have a PAYPAL account) to make your purchase of a digital download product you will not receive a link to download the file until your payment has cleared. This can take up to 10 days. We strongly recommend that you DO NOT USE PAYPAL to pay for digital downloads unless you have a PAYPAL account. If you do not have a PAYPAL account then we strongly reccomend tha you use Worldpay (select Worldpay as your payment method at checkout) to purchase downloads.
