Looking for the next bike on from balance bike for number 1 child... I'd like a cnoc 14 but they seem to now be available in large and small.  Sadly I can't stretch to the amount for a new one so likely a second hand one.   I think this will be previous model, which only came in one size not large or small... and product info no longer on islabikes website

So question - do you have an older cnoc 14 (pre large/small option)?  If so, could you tell me how low the saddle goes off the ground please?  Just like parents, number 1 child is not large!

I’ve got one. Will measure later but my 3 yo got on it with no pedals and she was quite little. Also I’d you have a Rothan you can swap seats and posts and it’s a bit lower

I had the old one size cnoc 14.

it matches up with the current large as I remember measuring child to see how close to 98cm he was.

Bought a 2nd hand Cnoc 14 a few months ago, and went through exactly this.  I'm pretty sure that the older ones are the same as the large.

From what I can tell there were 3 generations of Cnoc 14: original with quill stem, A headset with steel fork (straight fork with dropouts in front of tube), and then A headset with alloy fork (fork raked slightly forwards and drop outs in line with fork.

Only the last version came in large and small, with the large being the same size as previous ones, and the small being identifiable by only having a very slight kink between seat stays and top tube, and a much smaller rise on the handlebars (I found listings on ebay to be very frequently wrong on which size they were, so need to check the photos!)

I spent far too long on ebay when I was looking - hope this helps!

I'd just email islabikes, they tend to reply to emails within an hour.

Thanks all

Slightly cheeky to email and say 'I'm looking for islabikes on ebay, what size do I want' 😉

But knowing the old cnoc 14 is the same size as the now cnoc 14 large means I can check if she's big enough. I haven't seen many cnoc 14 small on ebay as they are pretty new, I think (2017?)
