Is there any way of locking these out so hard climbing even when u reduce the travel !

If it has mission control with a floodgate then yes. The sticker on the crown above the right leg tells you how to do it- push down and turn silver dial and it will pop up locking out fork.
The lyrik DH doesn't have this as RS realised no one used it and it affects initial small bump sensitivity...
