My mate has got a bit of an issue with these things on his living room carpet.
The house is clean, but just recently these wormy things have started appearing on the carpet. They appear from nowhere, wriggle along a bit, then cark it.
What they hell are they? And how can he get rid?
The £2 is for scale.
Has he recently had a chinese take-away?
They're not beansprouts. They wiggle about a bit. Then cark it.
Move
Cat?
has he got an itchy balloon knot?
You need a microscope.
No cat.
Not Tremors.
As far as I know, no itchy bum.
Worms? Has he a dog or cat thats done a big poo on the carpet?
Has he done a big poo on the carpet?
Pmsl! As above - cat?
Has his cat got an itchy bum?
No animals in the house. And he's house trained.
carpet beetles?
How is the house built? Raft foundation/concrete floor or floorboards over dirt? Any pot plants been moved into the house recently from the garden?
beard weevil larvae? does he have a singlespeed?
you say "friend" but you mean "you".....
Has your mate noticed a lot of moths around the house? Generally that size they will be insect larve. Does the house have a hollow floor they might be living under?

Genuine LOL
there's floorboards over a 2ft cavity. Pot plants brought in recently? Not that I can think of - we've brought some spuds in from the garden recently.
Yeah it's me.
Just make sure they don't crawl into your ear when you are asleep.
They're wild twiglets. Now I know what you're thinking, they're too small, but that's just because corn-fed factory twiglets are fattened up to an unnatural size. The bad news is, they're an endangered species, so you can't legally kill them.
😯 I'd be running around with a flamethrower!
Screaming!!
LOUDLY!!!
I hate ickys 😳

Oddly enough, you can get paid for killing them in Australia and New Zealand, where they have become a serious pest and are registered as official invasive species along with feral Quavers and Frazzles. This is due to the lack of population control as a result of the absence of their natural predator, the Pickled Onion Monster Munch.
Northwind, you make me make teh lolz. 😀
