Thinking about replacing my 4 year old 5th Element. The fit of the current helmet is ok just getting on and has picked up a few dings.
I was thinking about replacing it with a Veleno, which i assume is the replacement in the Met range. Just wondering if anyone can offer any feedback, is it cool, has the fit changed, etc.
I've been using the Veleno for a few years now.I find it's the best fit for my head?Plenty cool in the summer.XC climbs in Whistler and i mean climbs in really hot conditions didn't boil my head!
I've gone from a 5th element to a Velano and straight back to my 5th element. Velano is the same size but its a much bigger lid. Just aware of loads of hat around my head. Was going to put it up for sale just havnt got round to taking any pictures yet. Its large, only ever been worn trying it on. £30 + postage at cost. If interested e-mail steveshack@hotmail.co,uk
A large Veleno fits me perfectly but I was between medium and large in a Xen. I must have a Met head. Very happy with mine and also have a Kaos now.
