List Price was £1500. We have £500 off them now as the new model is due anytime. Only a few left in 20" (C-T)- £1000 bargain, even more so as i used our C2W scheme

Crikey, that seems cheap at £1500 let alone a grand!

Front end looks long and steep though, even with those (140mm?) forks...

I've still got to see how it rides, still banned from riding for a few weeks by the Dr. I *think* the geometry maybe different for the new version. Rockshox forks, Sram X0/X9 and Raceface cranks, better wheelset too (mavic rims)
Can't believe how cheap it was, even better with no tax or VAT on it too 😉

I don't think they were when we first brought the bike out for 2007/08. All the pics i have at work show it with the old XT groupset. I was expecting this so i was surprised when i opened the box up and saw it had new XT. Obviously it must have been one of the last batch to come through for 2008

Niiiiicee!

Saw one in a Bike Hut a while ago; forget all the full-sussers and othe flash stuff'; I'd rather have that. Lovely frame.

Houns works for Halfords? You kept that one quiet! 😉

Well done to whoever got the last ones 🙂

Phoned this morning to find out the last 18" was in Twickenham and was the display model so probably damageda nd they wouldn't ship it up to me. Tickenham said it wasn't them that had it, it would be Isleworth (next door). Isleworth dais they didn;t have a bike, only a 18" frameset left.

Good luck if you're still looking. Looks like I missed out. wish I heard about it earlier 😐

Boz. I drove over the Alpine pass of St.Kenelms earlier, the meadows looked like they were straight out of the sound of music.

There's a good alpine bloom this year on the south facing slopes. Got to make the most of the snow free conditions whilst it lasts!
