Hi, tried googling but can't find any definitive answers. Anyone successfully using a sram eagle xx1 chain on the new shimano 12 speed cassettes?

You could, but you lose the benefits of shimano's fancy new cassette/chain - shifting under load, etc.

My wolftooth stainless front ring isn't compatible with the new shimano 12 speed chains. Any other potential problems apart from losing the shifting under load?

In practice it might work, however the roller diameters are apparently different. Mixing chains and cassettes Will result in accelerated wear.

Works absolutely fine, shifts with no issues and although it’s not quite as quick a shift you can still successfully do so under heavy load. I think that most of the benefits of hyperglide 11 are in the cassette shaping which works better with the Shimano chain but is still better than a Sram I cassette with a Sram chain.
(Have gone from full XTR to XTR cassette with AXS mech/shifter and SRAM chain/chainring.)
