502 Club Raffle #2 WIN a Niner Jet 9 3Star RDO

by 17

Following our massively successful inaugural raffle to win a Cannondale Habit we have our second raffle. This time you have the chance to win a Niner Jet 9 RDO bike in your choice of size and colour.

THE UPDATED JET 9 RDO: FIT TO TAKE FLIGHT

Completely reimagined for 2021, our classic JET 9 RDO reasserts its position as our most popular, most versatile, and most agile trail bike. With hyper-capable frame geometry and 120mm of suspension travel, you’ll float up technical climbs, blast downhills, and fly smoothly over everything in between.

Our first JET 9 left the runway in 2007. With this early head start, we are now a leader in the category. Niner’s expertise in full-suspension 29er mountain bikes has been honed to a razor sharp edge. For this 14-year span, the JET has always maintained a place in our range. The latest iteration affirms the JET 9 RDO as one of the best contemporary short-travel trail bikes available, with the heritage to prove it and a lifetime warranty to back it up.

How to enter

Our raffles are run for us by Raffall.com. They are in the business of running raffles and with this being a paid ticket competition we think it best that we let the pro’s do the details.

Tickets cost £5 each for this raffle and if you purchase 4 tickets in the first 2 weeks of the raffle going live you will get a 5th ticket added for free.

The winner will be drawn by Raffall within an hour of the entries closing. Closing date for this raffle is Friday 24th May at 8pm (UK time)

We will pass on the winners details to our partners at Niner Bikes who will make direct contact with the winner to arrange size, colour and delivery address.

I would love to enter but I’ve had to close my Raffle account as they constantly spammed me with other raffles, @dazza being the biggest culprit that I had never agreed to. When I requested that they stop sending me these emails they said I had been removed from their “marketing list” but I still continued to receive raffle after raffle from them for the following week so had to close my account and block their domain. It is a shame as it looks like a good platform to use for raising funds for Singletrack and this might just have been a one off for me but there was no control for how often they emailed me and it very quickly became annoying. Hopefully others don’t have this issue but wanted to voice my experience with the platform so far.

Yay! Entered and easily excited when it comes to a slim chance of winning something. The fact that is helping the only decent social thing (and magazine) on the internet is just the cherry on top.

It’s probably been discussed already, but I regularly get inundated with “win your dream bike” kind of stuff on social media, and I’ll admit that I’ve been tempted on the odd occasion, even when it’s a road bike. Isn’t  there scope to run these kinds of raffles as a full time side line? I would have thought STW is ideally placed to get bikes a good price, using as a kind of marketing tool for the industry. In effect a new form of advertising.  Also a wee incentive to up the membership, say one entry per mag received kind of thing.

It’s a good idea and one we are considering. You are right in that we re in a good position to get bikes either at trade pricing or in exchange for wider promotion across the site.

or in exchange for wider promotion across the site.

Let’s just hope that if that happens the cynics in here won’t think that the suppliers are just buying better reviews.

I’m just waiting for the good news on 24th May, when my biggest problem will be choosing the colour.

Does STW have an ‘official’ colour, as that would be quite appropriate?

I occasionally enter the dream bike raffle: https://thedreambikecompetition.co.uk/

A fairly well-known and long-running small business which I understand sometimes struggles finding enough people to make the draws worthwhile. I wonder if there’s scope for some sort of joint venture between him and STW?

Maybe it then wouldn’t raise enough to support both… but both would get increased publicity.

🤷‍♀️ thought it was worth suggesting, anyway.
