Thanks to you wonderfull lot I have got a bit of a reputation amongst my mates as providing some pretty sound advice on buying bikes.
I am not taking credit, I always point them to the results of my questions before giving them my opinion 🙂
They’re just not as interested in the research as me (or you guys)!!!!
Anyway, one of my mates has decided to reduce his deposit for a house by £2k and asked my advice. So far he has pointed me in the directionb of Anthem x3 or superlight as potential bikes. Knowing him, he’ll be after a short travelish (100 – 125mm I reckon) XC focused bike.
I reckon he’ll be happy to go second hand to get best VFM, but don’t want to rule out any options.
