Assistance multipliers are starting to become a joke. The required input is getting so low they may as well just have a throttle.

Sadly that change doesn't seem to have made it through to me yet, I'm still seeing either "#gsc.tab=0" or "&gsc.tab=0" at the end of each URL and they do seem to be affecting loading pages.

I was stopped by a policeman once, for running a red light. Luckily he didn't kick me in the head on the off chance I was wearing a suicide vest.

Mrs 100th puts up with a lot but she does have her foibles. I am getting preemptively cross.
She leaves for a cycling holiday at 0100 tomorrow. I've been suggesting she might like to pack or at least pile for packing. Nope not a thing. Bike and bike box still two separate entities. She's currently...

Replied to the topic How to find the right Financial Advisor
About 30 years ago I used an IFA to set up a mortgage and was talked into an endowment and a whole life insurance policy.
In retrospect the advisor selected products that gave him the highest commission rather than those that fitted my needs. Endowments were just starting to be seriously question...

Part of the problem with York where I am is the lack of tips/"recycling centres". Theres 1 in York and understandably its always absolutely rammed so they've employed a booking system now which might speed things up a bit once you're there but makes the whole thing more difficult leading to people w...

For Nevis area we tend to book a pod at Glen Nevis (several months in advance) - they are really good.
This year we've a longer trip taking the motorhome up to the North North, so staying at the site for a couple of nights on the way up. We've taken all the seats out of our transporter historical...

Shame about Wyn. Sounds like he hit a jump and there was a rider who took a chicken line re-entering the track?
Asa is totally on it. I'm calling him for the win.

Sleeping in a tent or campervan, great.
Sleeping in a car or unconverted van, rubbish, I’d always choose a tent over the above, unless it was storm force winds and the tent wasn’t up to it!
It's entirely down to how good the bed is IMO.
It's not colder than a tent. it's not warm either in t...

Yeah, when my brother in law has used his in this country, he's had to ask first if they'll let him. When we've spoken to the before going he's usually been ok, but hasn;t been allowed on some sites.
In Europe (Spain especially) they don't seem to be bothered though.

Can happen when the cable/cable end is not seated properly in the end of the post - can be a bit of a pain with an ebike to feed the cable through so you can pull the post out and check, but worth a try

Bosch eBike Systems is introducing the Drivetrain Tensioner for the Performance Line CX and Performance Line CX-R, bringing maximum control in technical riding situations. The software optimisation closes the freewheel between the motor and rear wh...

Campsites don’t normally like vans or campers without windows. They are worried about travellers, and tradies looking for cheap digs whilst working away unfortunately. Obv most are fine but then you’ll get some that want to drink their earnings every night in a noisy group.

Avinox did it to attract attention and press for a new motor, and it's become the thing they're all competing on now. Easy to drive the motor a bit harder at the expense of efficiency/motor life. Far harder to make a motor thats lighter/more reliable/rides more naturally. According to this the Bosch...
